Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is a Hollywood actress and British model. Emma Watson was born on 15 April 1990 in Paris to Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson. Watson lived in Paris until the age of five. Later, following her parents' divorce, she moved with her mother and younger brother, Alex, to Oxfordshire.
Emma watson rose to prominence playing Hermione Granger, one of three starring roles in the Harry Potter film series. Watson was cast as Hermione at the age of nine, having previously acted only in school plays. Watson's work on the Harry Potter series has earned her several awards and more than £10 million. She made her modeling debut for Burberry's Autumn/Winter campaign in 2009.

She describes herself as "a bit of a feminist", and admires fellow actors Johnny Depp and Julia Roberts. Watson lists her interests as dancing, singing, field hockey, tennis, art and fly fishing, and she donates to WTT (Wild Trout Trust).
